Spring cleaning. House cleaning. Out with the old in with the new. Whatever you want to call it.

I've been busy. Barouchka left last week, her owner Cary Jackson is going to send her to the breeding shed, to stallion Jump Start, in Pennsylvania. Stent Double left yesterday to try his hand as a show horse. Sassy Sarahreid leaves Monday, she's going to help Irv Naylor's steeplechase stable continue its rise to the top. Talk To The King had a chip removed. Ginnygin was claimed last night after finishing third at Penn National. And Heart Striker may retire as a children's hunter. Wow that's a lot of horses moving.

Conceit came in yesterday to get ready for the turf season, I'm excited about him. Dumbarton Farm will send two in next week. I sent Mystical Terp to Break Away Farm to add to my collection of promising 2-year-olds of 2010; he brings the total to seven young prospects at Break Away.

Tuesday I received a call about a 2-year-old training in Ocala, Fl. After discussing it with Arnie Heft I flew down to Florida Thursday morning, drove up to the training center to watch the prospect train. We made an offer and I was on my way home to catch the last part of Colby's lacross practice. Oh yeah, while I was away MOM Stable's Christian's Star made it two in a row at Laurel Park. Bug Boy Brian Pedroza did a marvelous job of controlling the slow pace and saving plenty for the stretch run.

The OBS sale is in the middle of April where I will try to pick up one or two for MOM Stable and shop for other owners. If you want an order filled, let me know, we need to continue the momentum begun in the first three months of 2010.
